Police were murdering people who look like you and getting away with it. Many of the rappers who discussed "gangster" themes in their music grew up in environments that you could not imagine. It's important to understand the context in which art is created, and 90s hip hop is no exception. Heya - I'd just like to discuss the "I didn't like that they glorified gangster culture" a bit if you don't mind. ![]()
